  5.     It has come to our attention that some unscrupulous individual
  6. has been distributing a dangerously modified version of our UnWarp
  7. utility.  The suspect program was called Unwarp 1.40 , if you are
  8. using this program you are warned that this program will infect
  9. your system with a virus.  It was not created or authorized by
  10. SDS Software.

  12.     Only 2 versions of Unwarp were ever created, version 1.0 and 1.01
  13. if you are using any other version then you are warned.
  14.  
  15.     The documentation for the fake version 1.4 makes false claims
  16. of improvements to 'legitimize' its existence.  Be assured that it is
  17. neither faster, or safer, and does indeed install a virus.  Some
  18. devious individual went to great pains to modify Unwarp - if you have any
  19. information on who/what it might be, please write to SDS Software.

  21.     If you have or know anybody who uses this fake version 1.4 please
  22. notify them and delete it immediately.  SYSOPS - if you see this on
  23. your system please delete it immediately.

  25.     Also note that with the creation of The DISK-Masher, Warp and Unwarp
  26. have been discontinued completely.  The last versions ever distributed
  27. were Warp 1.11 and Unwarp 1.01.  Any versions after Warp 1.11 and Unwarp
  28. 1.01 are fake and may be trojan horses of some kind.
